Who we are
The Daily Spend ("we", "us") is a pre-launch service that helps UK businesses find duplicate payments, forgotten subscriptions, price rises and odd charges in their bank statements and invoices. Contact us at hello@thedailyspend.com.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your email address, and optionally whether you are a business owner, freelancer or bookkeeper, when you join the early access list.
- Documents you upload (when the service launches): the bank statements and invoices you choose to upload, used only to produce your spend report.
- Basic technical data: standard server logs needed to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
We use your email address to run the waitlist and contact you about early access. Uploaded documents are processed to produce your report, then deleted — they are not sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any other purpose.
Your files: processed, then deleted
Files are encrypted in transit and at rest while being processed. Once your report has been produced, the underlying files are deleted. We design our data handling around UK GDPR principles.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may use trusted service providers (for example, hosting and email delivery) who process data only on our instructions.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, and object to or restrict its use. To leave the waitlist or exercise any right, email hello@thedailyspend.com.
Changes to this policy
This is a placeholder policy for the pre-launch period. We will publish a final version before the public launch and update the date at the top of this page when we do.
